Since it's creation in 1995, this website has been devoted to sharing information about infantilism, diaper fetishes, and ABDLs. Its goal has been to build better lives though understanding.
What is infantilism?
While infantilism has appeared on a few TV shows such as CSI, it isn't widely understood. Paraphilic infantilism and diaper fetishes are both deep and lasting urges with a specific focus: diapers and/or babyhood. The urges differs from person to person. Infantilism isn't a fetish per se, but may coexist with a diaper fetish. Neither involve actual children. Infantilists and those with diaper fetishes are often called Adult Babies and Diaper Lovers (AB/DLs or ABDLs).
Why would someone want to wear diapers?
There are many speculations about what causes infantilism and diaper fetishes. In truth, the causes are probably as diverse as the ABDLs themselves. Those who advocate a one-size-fits-all answer are stretching things.
Is being an ABDL OK?
Infantilism and diaper fetishes aren't directly harmful, but have their risks. Some of these need to be addressed as a community, while others must be addressed individually.

As an investment in the future, a system of surveys has been set up. Currently, responces are being gathered for the second ABDL survey. Results from the first survey include the range between AB and DL; how the sexual and internet revolutions have changed the ABDL community; and ways to describe the diversity present in the desires of infantilism and diaper fetishes.
